Fine Food NW Award Winner - Best Prepared fish and seafood category

At the end of May top chefs,supermarket managers and hotel managers took part in judging this years North West Food Awards at Ewood Park in Blackburn. Almost 400 products were tasted, from producers all over the North West, to find the top 10 category winners.

Southport Seafoods won the prepared fish and seafood category with their genuine Southport potted shrimps in butter, to become the seafood champions of the North West.

The brown shrimps used for the awards were caught off the Southport coast, hand peeled and finally recooked in our special blend of spices, including freshly ground mace, nutmeg, cayenne pepper, salt and lemon juice then potted and sealed with finest best butter.
